The National Association for Business Resources wants to pay tribute to organizations that have a focus on inspiring sustainability and are taking the lead on Green initiatives. Their program, the 101 Best and Brightest Sustainable Companies™, is  looking for companies throughout the country that are leading the way in sustainable and green initiatives.

Companies from all industries that are focused on being more sustainable, improving the lives of their employees and are committed to the local and global environments are encouraged to participate.

Winners are scored by the Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT) in conjunction with Davenport University on the quantitative and qualitative portions of the entry. Organizations are scored in the following categories and those receiving the highest points are selected as winners:

  • Education
  • Communication
  • Strategic Planning & Operational Implementation
  • Innovation & Problem Solving
  • Building & Grounds
  • Community Leadership
  • Workforce
  • Financial Performance
  • Overall Winner

Benefits of participating include consulting services, customized reports, customer service throughout the entire year, a winner media campaign and the option to celebrate achievements at one of the regional Symposium and Awards Galas.  Nominations are being accepted online at www.101bestandbrightest.com. Anyone can complete the online entry form. The nomination deadline is Sept. 30, 2013.
