CommSec economists who have tracked the cost of Apple products have provided a table listing of the cost of a 16Gb Retina (with wifi) iPad across 46 countries as a benchmark measure.
The top 3 most expensive countries in the world to purchase the device are (rounded off): Argentina (US$1,094), Brazil (US$791) and Denmark (US$725). The top 3 least expensive countries on the other hand include: Malaysia (US$474), Canada (US$485, excl tax), and the USA (US$499 excl tax). Now that difference in price could well give you reason to start a mini supply-chain on your own, especially if you are located in the top 3 least expensive to the top 3 most expensive countries that is – a price differential of about US$600!
