Executive Health: Walk to lose weight

Save money on that gym membership for a new top or electronic device. Research has shown that by simply walking 10,000 steps a day, women will average 40% less body fat and along with it, 10-15 cm narrower waist line than those clocking less than 6,000 steps. By estimating this with a 2.2km coverage for every 2,000 steps taken, this means that by clocking about 11km worth of steps each day, an individual can stand to lose up to 4.5kg a year without making changes to one’s eating habits.
